| This
is a very easy tutorial which I adapted for Photo Impact from Dizzie Design. She has some gorgeous backgrounds and
excellent tutorials for PSP users. You'll need the texturizer plug in which can be found in your Photoshop plugins
folder. To learn how to import plug ins, click here.
Ok, onto making a crystalized
background in Photo Impact.
Open up a new image 200x200.
Using the Bucket Fill Tool, fill your
tile with any color you like.

Go
to Effects, texture and the texturizer plug in. From the drop down menu choose
the texture sandstone. Scaling 100, Relief 15, and light direction top left.

Next
go to Format, Dimensions. Make sure User-Defined is checked. Check the box at
Keep Aspect Ratio and shrink your tile to 50% of its original size to 100 pixels.
Here
is your crystalized tile as shown in this background.

I hope you've enjoyed this
tutorial.
