| This is an overview of Gif Animator 4 to help
you familiarize yourself with the layout, tools and functions.
The first image you'll see
upon opening Gif Animator 4 is the Startup Wizard.

You can eliminate the Startup
Wizard by checking off the "Do not show this dialogue box next time" box. If you
decide you want it back upon opening the program, you can go to File, Preferences and in
the General category, check Enable Startup Wizard.
Gif Animator 4 has a Preference
settings. As noted above, go to File, Preferences. You can add third party plugins
and change the default settings to suite your needs.

Below is an overview of the layout
and tools in Gif Animator 4.

The Standard
Toolbar is similar to that of PhotoImpact. New, Open Image, Copy, Save, and
more.
The Edit Toolbar
can be used while in Edit only. It is similar to PhotoImpact's Tool Panel. You
can resample (resize) your canvas, rotate images, erase, bucket fill, etc.
Attribute Toolbar
is where you set the size of your canvas, set your background color, control looping and
set timing delays.
The Palette Panel
is where you can set your colors.
The Frame Panel
is shows each individual frame. By selecting a frame you can edit your animation.
